DaLaa welcome Thai students for internships (duration of at least 2 months). Depending on the needs, their skills and expectations, internships can join the work in the office, in our voluntary service community or the workcamps and volunteer placements. They should be more involved in the organization functioning than the volunteers and given tasks and real situation work experiences. Their tasks will involve culture exchange and English language practice in daily life situations, project management, organization skills and “soft” leadership… On the field, they can learn to develop their skills in cooperation and understanding between Thai people and foreign volunteers on social development and environment preservation matters. For this reason, we are usually more looking for Thai people than foreigners. Even if in some situations, Thai student from a big city may found him/herself almost like a foreigner in a small rural community of South Thailand?
