MLTV
Midterm and Longterm Volunteers: volunteers who join a hosting placement for 2-12 months.
Workcamp
Living together for 1-2 weeks with 5-15 young people (age 16 and older) from different countries and working on various topics such as teaching English, environmental activities, construction work and art & music camps.

Sending organisation
The organisation in charge of selecting and preparing a volunteer to join a volunteering activity.
Hosting Organisation
The organisation in charge of receiving a volunteer and taking care of their settlement, integration by offering mentorship and support.
Host/Placement
A family or group of people, located in the rural area usually, who is willing to host volunteers and who prepares a programme for volunteering in the local community.
