At this time, the main team of staff consists of 3 full time & a part time people and we have a committee of 7 people who take the full responsibilities and make decisions in the organization. Of course, we couldn’t work without members, volunteers and local people around us. We are doing this together. Here are the people running DaLaa for 2026 (DaLaa staffs):
A (Ammara INTHONG): is fully involved into the general functioning of our organization, practical, straightforward, and trustable. She takes care of administration, finances, coordinates our Thai volunteers and internship students and also answers the email from incoming volunteers. She has been a member of DaLaa since the creation in 2004 and full staff since 2008.
Alex (Alex BECHETOILLE): takes care of the general direction of DaLaa. He coordinates MLTV programs. Integrated in the South Thai society for many years, he helps to balance the cultural differences between Western-Asian and mentors the long-term volunteers. The learning process of volunteers and the deep meaning of volunteering is something of real importance for him- as well as authenticity.
Min (Areerat MANSALUNG): had arrived in the team in March 2025. After a volunteering with DaLaa in 2023 and hosting a few MLTV in her hometown Kok Salung, Lopburi province for a year, she entered DaLaa at the 20th anniversary to take over from Not and she is now in charge of the Voluntary Service Community coordinator, supervising Public Relation and support VISA and Work permits for the volunteers.
Poohmai (Monchaya PAICHAYON): received the opportunity from DaLaa to join a Long-Term Volunteer program in France in 2022. Since then, she has been an active member of DaLaa, serving as a workcamp leader. She is now in charge as outgoing project coordinator, promoting international partner workcamps to Thai Volunteers, guiding them through preparation, cultural understanding, and the volunteer learning process. She works part time and remotely.
The committee is composed of 7 persons:

3- Lung Jaeng . He is also the owner of the land where VSC is situated and has graciously offered us to build our office and stay there in 2015. He has been a very active host from 2013 to 2022 and our respected local adviser.
4- Ui staff from 2008-2011
5- Loh a very active staff from 2017-2021
6- Sun, staff from 2012 to 2016
7- Not – 2018- 2025 from trainee to experimented staff
And in more details:
We can’t speak about DaLaa creation without mentionning Sakkarin (Sakkarin SEEMA) who was the main initiator in 2004 supported by the international networks, and inviting many friends for this special creation. He became president in 2008 when we officially registered the association and stayed in the position until 2019 when he resigned to focus on the local social development. He had lead the Kok Payom placement 10 years from 2009–2019
There are quite many other active committees and staff like Ria zwart from the Netherlands who stayed 4 full years since the creation, Tum and Gate who later created VSA in 2008, P Ram and P Dang (who is the one who have proposed the name of the torch ginger flower DaLaa for the association, and the first long term placement in Bangklam), Ying and Somchai from Nong Tong, Beelan our dream workcamp leader, Gor from Klong Hoy Khong and then Joe, our funny work camp leader, Air staff until 2014, and Mooi until 2016, Baiteuy from our arrival in Kok Riang, Yong, our first outgoing MLTV in France in love with the children of Kok Riang.
On the host sides, Kok Payom (2009-2022 for MLTV) in Satun is probably the longest and most famous with Bang Dam, Bang Bat and all the bang bang , Ka ka until Chui and Saki, Ko Sukorn with Ma Tak and Pa Meng in Trang since 2013 is probably the second most famous together with Roy Wan Phan Pba from P Ju and P Nong in Nakorn Sri Tammarat (2011-2016). There was Ta Yang in Satun, a placement we have sent volunteers for many years with Bang Leem, Wipawadi (Oasis) in Surat Thani led by Jean-Luc, Klong Den at the border Songkhla/Nakorn. Of course Lung Jaeng garden and later our VSC placement, Withee Tai, active from 2016 to 2019 with Kru Liam and Pa Lee, P Kati, P Toon and P Mana, who has never missed a DaLaa anniversary workcamp in October since he knows us. The garden of tranquillity with P Ja and P Na always caring for us from Rachaburi. Na Nai Kong farm project in Ranot/Songkhla with P Kong in 2021-2024. We have many Schools including Prang Moo whose director P. Pin is always present since 2018?, Koh Nang Kham lead by Kru Chem and Kru Ya, recently Phi Khun Tong School , Preecha director and Thung Prue (P Noo teacher). Hug Ban Den by Kru Ann and P Poon and P Yoi for the Suan Na Phru.
DaLaa wouldn’t be DaLaa without the hosts especially from our MLTV placements and without the volunteers also, we had probably around 700-800 MLTV and over 2000 STV joining DaLaa activities in 20+ years of activities. Each participant will remember different faces and souls but DaLaa really seems like a whole entity containing a bit of each soul having contributed. From the years of Greenway and the support from Ingrid and Rose in 2005 (from Thai Child Development Foundation in Phato/Chumpon) to the participation of Krisztina who has been carrying Eyegeshek -Hungary for the 20 first years of its creation and many more gravitating more or less far like P Man from Songkhla repair shop, P Tik and his musicians teams from Thai Lagoon and other South Thailand. Mor Keaw health center and Malled Phan alternative market lead by P Nit… the list may never end…and more to come
