Values

Workcamps were defined as “Small international groups of young volunteers who work and live together, in order to create an atmosphere of international understanding to preserve peace in the world”.

DaLaa creates opportunities where volunteers and local people live, learn, work and enjoy together. The first objectives we aim at since 2004 are Support, Friendship and Preservation. We want to support local communities and existing development projects, to create mutual understanding between both international and Thai volunteers as well as local people, and to preserve nature and culture as good as possible. DaLaa wants to bring people from all over the world together working, living and laughing together in order to make a tribute to a better world with more cultural understanding.

In  2018, we precised our vision:

Thriving through authenticity, responsibility, and inclusion

And our mission is to coordinate the hosting of volunteers in active communities working for social growth and environmental preservation.

Let’s break the barriers and fears in ourselves, let’s support authenticity, let the human be, let the nature be, let’s become responsible and autonomous, the path toward freedom, let’s join and support these networks of active communities working for social growth and environment preservation. Let’s be part of it. Let’s include the good will people we meet on the road.

Let’s join hands to create the world in peace we all deserve.

If you have come here to help me

You are wasting your time.

But if you have come because your liberation is bound up with mine,

then let us work together.
